Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is the Director of Technology at Easterseals Arkansas. He first came to Easterseals in 2020 as an engineer for a managed service provider contracted by the organization, and three years later, when that relationship was ending, he offered to stay. "I felt drawn to the culture at Easterseals and wanted to continue contributing in a more direct way," he says.

Andrew brings 20 years of IT experience across network systems, cloud services, cybersecurity, communications, end-user support, and software and application development. His job is to make sure the people delivering services can do that work without technology getting in the way. "I try to make technology feel less like an obstacle and more like a tool that helps people do their jobs well."

Away from work, he spends time with his partner and two sons, camping, working on projects around the house, and serving as vice president of a local youth athletic association.
