Easterseals Arkansas Earns Governor’s Quality Award, Highlighting Commitment to Serving Individuals with Disabilities

Arkansas Lt. Governor Leslie Rutledge presents the Challenge Award to Easterseals Arkansas CEO, Ron Ekstrand.

Little Rock, AR (October 10, 2024) – Easterseals Arkansas is thrilled to announce being named a recipient of the Challenge Award in the Arkansas Governor’s Quality Awards program. This distinguished recognition underscores our unwavering dedication to continuous improvement and delivering exceptional services to individuals with disabilities and their families.

The award specifically acknowledges Easterseals Arkansas’ commitment to providing high-quality services for individuals with disabilities and their families. We were honored to be recognized alongside outstanding organizations from diverse industries like healthcare, manufacturing, and IT. Notably, Springdale Water Utilities received the program’s highest honor, the Governor’s Award for Performance Excellence.

The Arkansas Institute for Performance Excellence (AIPE) administers the Governor’s Quality Award program, fostering organizational excellence and improvement across Arkansas businesses. By leveraging the Baldrige Excellence Framework, the award program motivates participants to optimize both their processes and results.

Receiving this recognition is a tremendous honor, and we remain steadfast in our mission of enriching the lives of those we serve.
