If they’ve ever been held back by what their body can or can’t do, here’s where they gain the freedom to create, express, and truly be themselves. It’s a space where the constraints of physical ability are eclipsed by the boundless expanse of imagination.
Unleashing The Inner Artist
Think you need the perfect stroke of a brush to create art? Think again. Our A.R.T. program allows individuals, who perhaps have never held a paintbrush due to limited use of their hands, to become bona fide artists. Through a uniquely collaborative process, our participants—whom we proudly call artists—guide trained volunteers known as “trackers” to bring their artistic visions to life.
Imagine the sense of empowerment that comes from seeing their imagination spill across a canvas for the very first time. These aren’t just paintings; they’re badges of honor, and triumph over challenges, and they’re featured prominently at our annual Art & Soul event, where the public can bid on and bring home a piece of this transformative journey.
This program takes place inside the Center for Training & Wellness.
Our program is a platform for voices that might otherwise go unheard. The artistic journey also becomes a testament to collaboration, understanding, and the incredible outcomes when two people work together with a shared vision. Here, limitations don’t define what they can achieve—it merely sets the stage for their next great accomplishment.
