Navigating the education system with a child who has special needs can often feel like an overwhelming journey through a maze of complexities. Parents, teachers, and even administrators sometimes struggle to find the right solutions.
That’s where we come in. Easterseals Outreach Program (ESO) proudly collaborates with the Arkansas Department of Education-Special Education Unit (ADE-SEU) to create tailor-made programs that respond to each child’s unique set of challenges.
Whether your child experiences difficulty with behavior, concentration, language, physical abilities, peer interaction, or developmental milestones, our experienced team is equipped to help.
How It Works
1. Initial Referral
Once a request for services is made through CIRCUIT, a member of our expert ESO team will reach out to you for an in-depth discussion about your child’s needs.
2. Comprehensive Assessments
From psychoeducational evaluations to autism testing, we offer a robust range of diagnostic services designed to pinpoint exactly what assistance your child may require.
3. Multi-Disciplinary Team
Our ESO team consists of special education consultants, occupational therapists, technology consultants, speech therapists, psychological examiners, autism specialists, and traumatic brain injury consultants, all working in sync to develop the best strategy for your child.
4. Service Offerings
Depending on the assessment results, your child may benefit from one or several of the following services:
- School Team Consultation
- Professional Development Courses
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Evaluations
- Assistive Technology Assessments
- Regional Training, On-Site Team Coaching, or In-Service Training
- Classroom Material Adaptation and Modification
