Easterseals Arkansas Introduces Zach Lyons as the Director of Community Services

September 16, 2021

Easterseals Arkansas (ESA) is thrilled to bring on board Zach Lyons, taking the lead as the new Director of Community Services in the Waiver Department. A seasoned professional, Lyons comes with a robust background, boasting over a decade’s experience spanning mental health, IDD/DD community services, and insights from corporate America and non-profit sectors.

Brad Hagan, Vice President of Adult Services, conveyed his excitement about Lyons joining the team, remarking, “It’s amazing to have such a talented new member as part of our team. We are doing some exciting work here and I know that his talent and enthusiasm will be invaluable to Easterseals Arkansas.”

Lyons, leveraging his educational background in psychology from Henderson State University, initially thought of becoming a therapist but found a higher calling in serving a larger group of people through administrative roles.

Sharing His Vision

In a statement, Lyons emphasized the values close to his heart, sharing, “Trust, loyalty, and compassion are three words that are very important to me. That is what influences my desire to serve others.” Looking forward to infusing the organization with his passion for service, the words resonate with his eager anticipation to embark on this journey with ESA.

Getting to Know Zach

Outside of his professional realm, Lyons, a Benton native, places immense value on faith and family. A father to two young children, Deklyn and Bowen, Lyons cherishes his roots in the community.

Deeply involved with the Tent Builders Church and a vital member of the worship team, he carries his love for music into his personal life, enjoying tunes spanning genres from classical to Metallica. A true sports aficionado, Lyons holds steadfast support for his favorite teams, including the Dallas Cowboys and the Arkansas Razorbacks.
