At Easterseals Arkansas, the heartbeat of our mission lies in the dedication of our incredible team members. This week, meet Brandon Lawrence Sr., a Direct Support Manager in our Waiver program. Brandon is one of the many people who go above and beyond each day to help individuals with disabilities and their families feel supported, understood, and empowered.
A Calling Rooted in Mission
Brandon started working for Easterseals because he genuinely believes in the mission.
“I am deeply committed to serving the individuals and families we support with a relentless mindset, dedicating myself to this work day in and day out.”
With about 11 years of experience in different care settings, Brandon has built a strong, well-rounded background in supporting people with complex needs. He brings professionalism, compassion, and respect to his work.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix. This has helped him better understand how healthcare systems work, how to coordinate care, and how to work with others to support people in the community.
Problem-Solver and Care Coordinator
Professionally, Brandon is known for being dependable, detail-oriented, and highly responsive. He has a strong ability to coordinate complex care needs, support policy and documentation compliance, and communicate effectively with families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
Brandon’s strength is turning complex situations into clear, manageable plans for families.
The individuals and families Brandon supports would likely describe him as reliable, responsive, and genuinely invested in their well-being:
They know I will listen, take their concerns seriously, and work diligently to find answers.
At Easterseals, he is known as someone calm under pressure. Coworkers know they can rely on him to handle challenges and keep things moving.
Family, Football, and Community
Outside of work, Brandon is most passionate about his family. Being a father, in particular, has had a significant impact:
“It has shown me a depth of love I never imaged possible, inspiring me every day to be my best self, stay patient, and approach life with compassion and resilience.”
On a day off, Brandon loves to recharge by watching football, especially the Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, and his University of Michigan Wolverines.
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Brandon moved to Arkansas after high school to be closer to his mother and sisters, and has called Arkansas home ever since. His sisters and his 4-year-old drive everything he does, both at work and at home.
Brandon is also passionate about volunteer opportunities that support children, families, and individuals with disabilities, especially where he can make a direct, positive impact on someone’s day.
A Legacy Built on Integrity
When asked what he hopes to be remembered for, his answer reflects both his heart and his character: showing up for others with care, integrity, and resilience.
“I want to be remembered as someone who genuinely cared about others, made a positive difference in people’s lives, and approached every challenge with integrity, compassion, and resilience.”
Thank you, Brandon!
Easterseals Arkansas thrives because of people like Brandon Lawrence Sr., professionals who combine expertise with empathy and show up consistently for individuals and families who deserve coordinated, person-centered support.
