David Simmons, a teaching assistant at our Little Rock Developmental Preschool "is one of the most incredible humans I have ever met," says Keasha Mosley, preschool director. He suffered a traumatic brain injury from a car accident when he was in college, which has made it more difficult to find a good-paying job. However, his challenges don't stop him from doing his very best every day.
"The kids and preschool staff absolutely love him. He gets to work super early every single day and sits in the parking lot until it's time to walk in because he doesn't want to be late."
David recently was approved to buy a house. "We both just sat and cried happy tears for a minute when he came in to tell me the good news. The raise that our hourly staff recently received really is changing lives," Keasha happily points out.
