This week, we're proud to spotlight Jannifer Conard, a DSP trainer with our Children’s Rehabilitation Center. The CRC at Easterseals Arkansas offers an intensive and nurturing environment for children with disabilities, aiming for their maximum physical, educational, and social potential.
Dedicated to Joy and Growth
Jannifer brings 8 years of DSP experience to her work supporting children at Easterseals Arkansas. She started as a DSP at the CRC in 2018, and worked there until 2021. But in 2024, she came back to the CRC!
As a DSP, one of the most rewarding parts of the day is seeing her clients accomplish their milestones.
I come to work because the smiles and laughs on the children’s faces brighten my day. It’s awe-inspiring to watch them grow.
A Caring Approach
Known for being able to help the children de-escalate and feel calmer, Jannifer’s bubbly personality and compassion for children help her make a difference each day as a DSP.
Her colleagues describe her as caring and passionate about the clients. The people they serve often share the same sentiment: Jannifer will go the extra mile to make sure they are taken care of.
Experience Rooted in Memphis + North Little Rock
Jannifer grew up between Memphis, TN and North Little Rock, AR. Though she doesn’t currently live in either of those childhood homes, she’s still close by.
She graduated from The University of Memphis in 2024, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience.
What A Day Off Looks Like for Jannifer
Outside of work, she loves walking at the Big Dam Bridge and playing with her dog, Lilo. She is also passionate about reading and singing.
It would be impossible for me to give up music. I’m always singing.
Jannifer also regularly volunteers through her church, helping with the children’s ministry or singing in the choir. Their passion for service extends beyond the CRC into working with the children at her community’s church.
A Legacy of Compassion
As a DSP at Easterseals Arkansas, Jannifer wants to be known for her compassion for others (both her colleagues and her clients). When we asked her about her legacy, she responded:
If I can make a positive difference in just one person’s life, then my living won’t be in vain.
