At Easterseals Arkansas, our mission is brought to life every day through the dedication of team members like Regina Allen. With more than 13 years of experience in the field, Regina serves as a Direct Support Manager in our Waiver program with a steady presence, a strong commitment to person-centered support, and a deep belief that every individual deserves dignity, respect, and the opportunity to thrive.
A Career Rooted in Advocacy and Compassion
Regina earned an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Technology from Pulaski Technical College after graduating from North Little Rock High School (Go Wildcats!). Her passion for advocacy naturally led her to Easterseals Arkansas.
She started working for Easterseals because she wanted to make a meaningful difference, supporting individuals with disabilities as they pursue their goals, maintain independence, and receive consistent, respectful support. She shared that over time, this work has become more than just a job:
“It is a commitment to advocacy, compassion, and consistency.”
The Calm & Reliable Teammate Everyone Can Trust
Regina is known for reliability, avstrong work ethic, and staying organized in fast-paced environments. She brings clear communication, professionalism, and compassion to every interaction, especially when handling sensitive situations or supporting and training staff.
When challenges arise, Regina excels at identifying barriers (whether related to communication, routines, or resources) and finding practical solutions that keep services person-centered and aligned with each individual’s needs and goals.
She believes the people we serve would describe her as patient, dependable, and genuinely caring:
“Someone who listens, advocates for them, and follows through.”
Her coworkers would add that she’s supportive and someone they can count on for guidance.
Outside of the Waiver Program
Regina lives in Conway, Arkansas, with her husband of 16 years, their four children, and their dog, Snowball. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her family and browsing local bargain and thrift stores:
“I love finding great deals!”
On days off, she especially values quiet quality time with her husband while the kids are at school.
She also enjoys volunteering as a door greeter at her church, Agape Community Temple of Servants, reflecting her strong connection to community.
Roots, Values, and What Inspires Her
Regina grew up in Gilmore, Arkansas, where her uncle, Bruce Delaney, serves as mayor. Regina describes him as an early example of service and community leadership.
She’s inspired by seeing individuals grow, overcome challenges, and reach goals (no matter how small). She also draws daily motivation from her children and the responsibility of modeling integrity, compassion, and fairness.
A Legacy of Faith, Family, and Respect
When asked what she could never give up, Regina’s answer is simple and powerful:
“It would be impossible for me to give up my faith, my family, and the values they represent. They ground me, guide my decisions, and motivate me to serve others with compassion, integrity, and purpose every day.”
And when she thinks about the legacy she hopes to leave, Regina wants to be remembered as someone who made a positive difference; compassionate, dependable, and committed to treating everyone with respect and fairness.
Regina Allen embodies what it means to show up with heart, consistency, and professionalism. Easterseals Arkansas is stronger because of her.
Thank you, Regina!
Easterseals Arkansas thrives because of people like Regina, team members who bring both compassion and excellence to the work of empowering people with disabilities to live, learn, work, and play in their communities.
