LITTLE ROCK, AR – Upon reviewing the latest recommendations from the CDC, and discussing with the Easterseals Board Chair, and other healthcare professionals, the non-profit organization made the decision to reschedule their 2020 Fashion Event. The event was to be held at the Statehouse Convention Center in the Wally Hall Ballroom Thursday, March 12th starting at 5:30pm.
“We had considered the idea of continuing with a Facebook Live broadcast of the event, restricting the audience to just participants and families only, much like the NCAA basketball tournament is doing,” said Ron Ekstrand, CEO of Easterseals Arkansas. “However, while these steps would help mitigate the health risks, it would not maintain the integrity of the show and would not help us achieve the fundraising goals we had for the event. Thus, we decided to reschedule.”
Easterseals Arkansas is in the process of rescheduling the event for sometime this summer. We will post updates on our Facebook page.
